Privacy policy

This explains what Naduno collects, who can see it, and how to have it deleted.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address (to sign in), your name, your role, and optionally a mobile phone number.
  • Profile: what you choose to tell us about your swimming or paddling experience, craft and equipment.
  • Location: paddlers give a town or area. We store its position rounded to about 1 km, never a home address.
  • Activity: swims and events you list, requests and bookings, chat messages, reports and blocks.

Who can see what

  • Other people see your first name and last initial, never your full name.
  • Profiles, and swims still looking for a paddler, are visible to signed-in users. Published events are public.
  • Your email address and phone number are shared only with the other person on a confirmed booking.
  • Event directors see how many swimmers in their event are looking for or have a paddler, and swimmers' names only if the swimmer chooses to share them.
  • Chat messages are visible only to the people on that request.
  • The Naduno team can see account and booking information to run the service and deal with reports.

Emails

We email you about your own requests, bookings, reminders and chat messages. Paddlers also get a weekly summary of opportunities nearby, which they can turn off on their Account page. We don't send marketing emails.

Services we use

  • Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in. The database is hosted in Canada.
  • Vercel hosts the website. Its servers for Naduno are in Montréal.
  • Resend sends our emails.
  • Photon (by Komoot, using OpenStreetMap data) looks up places. The text you type in a location search is sent to it.

We don't sell your information, show ads, or use third-party tracking. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.

Deleting your account

Email support@nadunoapp.com from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete your account and personal information. We may keep a limited record where we need to, for example about a safety report.
