What Naduno does, and doesn't do

Naduno only introduces people. It lets swimmers, paddlers and event directors find each other and agree the details of a swim or a safety shift.

• Naduno doesn't employ, vet, verify, train or supervise anyone, and doesn't organize or run swims or events.
• Everything in a profile is self-reported and isn't checked. There are no “verified” or “approved” badges.
• Naduno doesn't guarantee that anyone will turn up, or that a replacement can be found if someone cancels.

Safety is your responsibility

• Decide for yourself whether someone is suitable. Ask about their experience, equipment and plans before you agree to anything.
• Event directors are responsible for their event's safety plan, including how safety paddlers are briefed and used.
• Swimmers and paddlers are responsible for their own decisions on the day: the conditions, their fitness, their equipment and whether to go ahead.
• Naduno doesn't provide insurance. Check what cover you or your event have.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• Each account has one role: swimmer, paddler or event director. It's chosen when you sign up and can only be changed by the Naduno team.
• Keep your details accurate and up to date, and don't create an account for someone else.
• Other people see your first name and last initial, not your full name.

Requests and bookings

• A booking is confirmed only when the paddler accepts it in Naduno. Offers and chat messages are not bookings, and agreeing something in chat doesn't change a booking's details.
• If you can no longer make a booking, cancel it in Naduno as soon as you can so the other person can find someone else.
• When a booking is confirmed, Naduno shares your email address and phone number (if you gave one) with the other person on it.

Payments

Naduno doesn't handle money. Any payment a swimmer or event offers is arranged and paid directly between the people involved. Naduno isn't part of that arrangement and isn't responsible if a payment isn't made.

Acceptable use

Don't post spam or fake listings, impersonate anyone, harass or threaten people, or use Naduno for anything unlawful.

You can report a person or an event, and block someone so they can't contact you. The Naduno team may hide listings or deactivate accounts that break these terms, without notice.

Limits on our responsibility

Naduno is provided as it is, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, Naduno and the people who run it aren't responsible for injury, loss or damage that arises from swims, events, bookings or dealings between people who met through Naduno.

Changes and contact
