Changing your name, phone or units
Tap Account to change your name, your mobile phone number, and whether distances show in kilometres or miles.
What to do
- Step 1: Tap Account at the top of the page. On a phone, tap the menu button (three lines) first.
- Step 2: Change what you need under About you.
- Step 3: Tap Save changes.
What each box is for
- Name: other people only see your first name and the first letter of your last name.
- Mobile phone: you don't have to give it. It's only shared with the other person once a booking is confirmed, so you can reach each other on the day.
- Distance units: show distances in kilometres or miles.
- Event organizers also have Your organization: your title, your organization's name, where your events are and your website.
Your profile
Your profile is separate from your account. It's what others look at to decide whether to ask you, like your experience. On the Account page, tap Edit profile (or Set up profile if you haven't yet).
Common questions
Can I change my email address?
Not yourself yet. Send us a message from the address you sign in with. We'll email a link to your new address: tap it to confirm the change.
Can I change my role?
Not yourself. Send us a message and we'll help.
How do I close my account?
At the bottom of the Account page, tap Close my account…. See closing your account.
