Closing your account
On the Account page, tap Close my account… at the bottom. Cancel anything you have coming up first.
Closing removes your name, profile, phone number, nearby alerts, email settings, offers to help and invite links, and you can't sign in any more.
Past swims, events, bookings, chats and reviews that other people were part of stay for them, without your name. We may also keep a small record where we need to, for example about a safety report.
What to do
- Step 1: Tap Account at the top of the page. On a phone, tap the menu button (three lines) first.
- Step 2: At the bottom, tap Close my account….
- Step 3: If you see First, sort these out, tap Open beside each one and cancel or finish it. Then come back.
- Step 4: If you like, tell us why you're leaving.
- Step 5: Tick I understand this can't be undone.
- Step 6: Tap Close my account, then OK.
You're signed out, and we send you an email to say it's done.
Common questions
What happens to my bookings?
You can't close your account while you have a swim, event, request, booking or offer to help still going on. The page lists each one. Cancel it the usual way, so the other person is told and can find someone else. See changing or cancelling a booking.
Can I undo it?
No. But you can sign up again with the same email address at any time. It starts a new account, without your past swims, bookings or reviews.
I chose the wrong role. Do I need to close my account?
No. Send us a message and we can change your role and keep your history.
I can't sign in. How do I close my account?
Send us a message from the email address you sign in with. Choose My account or profile and say you'd like your account closed. We'll reply by email when it's done.
Can I just stop using Naduno instead?
Yes. To get fewer emails, untick the ones you don't want under Emails on the Account page. Paddlers can turn off nearby alerts on their Paddler profile.
