Who can see your name and details
Other people see your first name and the first letter of your last name. Your email and phone are only shared once a booking is confirmed.
What others see
- Your name: only your first name and last initial, like “Alex S.”. Never your full name.
- Your profile: only people who are signed in can see it.
- Your email and phone: only the other person on a confirmed booking, so you can reach each other on the day.
- Where you live (paddlers): the town or area you gave. We never store your home address.
- Your chat messages: only the people in that chat.
- Your answer to “Did they turn up?”: only the Naduno team.
Sharing links
If you share a link to your swim, or send an invite link, people who aren't signed in see “A swimmer” instead of your name. They never see your notes or contact details.
Event organizers
If you link your swim to an event, the event's organizer sees your first name and last initial, your distance, and whether you have a paddler.
Common questions
Does Naduno check who people are?
No. Profiles are filled in by each person and aren't checked. Ask questions in the chat before you agree to anything.
