Finding and inviting safety paddlers
Invite suggested paddlers near your event, or send a link to paddlers you already know.
Inviting a suggested paddler
- Step 1: On your event's Manage page, tap Invite paddlers next to a shift.
- Step 2: Look through the paddlers near your event. Tap a name to see their profile.
- Step 3: Tap Invite, add a message if you like, and tap Send invitation.
They have up to 3 days to accept or decline (less close to the event).
Sending a link
- Step 1: On the Manage page, find Invite paddlers.
- Step 2: Choose All shifts or one shift.
- Step 3: Tap Create invite link.
- Step 4: Tap Copy link, Email or Text to send it.
Anyone with the link can sign up in a minute and take a place straight away, even on shifts that are by invitation only. Tap Revoke to stop a link working.
Common questions
I'm getting an email every time someone signs up.
Tap Account, then under Emails set Paddlers joining your shifts to One summary a day. You'll get one email each morning (North America) listing who joined and how full each shift is. You're still told straight away if someone leaves.
Nobody is suggested.
No paddler near your event has said they do safety paddling yet. Send a link to paddlers you know, or share your event's page: tap Copy link on the Manage page.
Does Naduno check paddlers?
No. Profiles are filled in by each paddler and aren't checked. Your safety plan and briefing stay your responsibility.
