Offering to help a swimmer
Tap Offer to help on a swim. A private chat opens with the swimmer. Nothing is booked yet.
What to do
- Step 1: Open a swim from Opportunities.
- Step 2: Read the details and the swimmer's experience.
- Step 3: Under Could you paddle for…?, say hello if you like.
- Step 4: Tap Offer to help.
- Step 5: Chat with the swimmer about experience, pace, craft and payment.
What happens next
If the swimmer picks you, they send you a request with all the details. Tap Accept and confirm to book it, or Decline. See requests and bookings.
If they choose someone else, or say Not this time, we let you know and the chat closes.
Common questions
Does offering mean I have to go?
No. Offering isn't a promise. Nothing is booked until you accept the swimmer's request.
I can't help after all.
Open the swim and tap Withdraw offer. The chat closes.
There's no Offer to help button.
Turn on Support paddling in your paddler profile. The swim may also have found a paddler already.
