Your paddler profile

Your profile tells swimmers and event organizers where you paddle, what you paddle and your experience. Only a few things are needed.

When you sign up as a paddler, we only ask for your first name, your home town or area, and what you paddle. You can add the rest later.

Filling in the rest

  1. Step 1: Tap Account, then Edit profile.
  2. Step 2: Fill in as much as you like. Only your area, how far you'd travel, the kind of paddling and your craft are needed.
  3. Step 3: Tap Save paddler profile.

What the choices mean

  • Safety paddling: helping keep everyone safe at a swim event.
  • Support paddling: staying beside one swimmer for their whole swim. Turn this on to offer to help swimmers.
  • How far would you usually travel?: we show you swims within this distance first.
  • Experience: real numbers, like years paddling or your longest recent paddle, help swimmers decide. They also help you appear higher when swimmers look for a paddler.

Days you can't paddle

Going away? Add the dates under Dates you're not available on your profile page. Swimmers won't be suggested you on those days. Tap Remove to delete a date.

Common questions

Is my home address shown?

No. We only keep your rough area (to about 1 km), never your address. Others see the town or area you typed.

Does Naduno check my experience?

No. Everything on your profile is what you tell us. Swimmers are reminded to ask about it in the chat.
