Signing up for a safety shift
Open the event, pick a shift and tap Sign up for this shift. Your place is confirmed straight away.
What to do
- Step 1: Open an event from Opportunities, or from Events.
- Step 2: Look under Safety paddlers wanted at the shifts, their times and what's needed.
- Step 3: Tap Sign up for this shift, then OK.
After you sign up
Your place is confirmed and appears under Bookings, with the organizer's contact details. We remind you before the day.
If your plans change, open the booking and tap Leave this shift, so the organizer can find someone else.
If an organizer invites you
You'll get a message. Open it and tap Accept and confirm, or Decline. Some shifts say By invitation: you can only join those if the organizer invites you or sends you their link.
Common questions
There's no sign-up button.
Turn on Safety paddling in your paddler profile. The shift may also be full or by invitation only.
