Listing your event
Create your event as a draft, add its distances and safety shifts, then publish it so paddlers and swimmers can find it.
What to do
- Step 1: Tap My events, then New event.
- Step 2: Fill in the event's name, where it is, the date and the time zone. Add a description if you like.
- Step 3: Under Safety paddlers, say whether paddlers are volunteers or paid, and what they need.
- Step 4: Tap Create draft. Your event's Manage page opens.
- Step 5: Add the event's distances and your safety shifts. See distances and safety shifts.
- Step 6: Tap Publish event.
Until you publish, only you can see the event.
Common questions
It says “Is it one of these?”
Someone may have listed your event already. If a swimmer added it, open it and tap Claim this event instead, so you keep the swimmers already linked to it. If none of them is yours, tap None of these, create it.
Can I delete a draft?
Yes. On its Manage page, tap Delete draft. This can't be undone.
